Pulcinella Press is a small publishing company dedicated to the mission of reproducing the extensive artwork of illustrator and designer, Fred Marcellino (1939-2001). Learn more about Pulcinella Press.
Our maiden effort is a 48-page soft-cover book by Nicholas Falletta, entitled The Art of Fred Marcellino. It features 100 full-color pictures including some of the artist's earliest efforts as a high-school student, his brief concentration on abstract-expressionist painting, his early magazine editorial illustrations and record album covers, a sampling of his highly acclaimed book jackets and finally, a large number of children's book illustrations, including several from his Caldecott Honor winner, Puss in Boots.
